Sergio André spoke twice in Congress organized by the Brazilian Bar Association

The Special Commission on Tax Affairs (CEAT) of the Rio de Janeiro chapter of the Brazilian Bar Association organized a congress on the 50 years of Brazil’s Tax Code. On October 13, Sergio André spoke about article 98 of the Code and its application is some of the most relevant cases involving the interpretation of the Country’s double tax conventions. On October 14 Sergio André had the honor of making the closing speech of the Congress, discussing the relations between Tax Administration and Taxpayers in current tax law.
